Galatians 5:6 says 'For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision avails anything, but faith working through love.' Paul speaks about love quite extensively in 1 Corinthians 13, and he says that even if he could speak with tongues of men and angels, but not have love, it was just noise. He then said that even if he had the gift of prophecy, and understood all mysteries and all knowledge and had all faith that he could remove mountains but he didn't have love, he was nothing. (I encourage you to read all of 1 Corinthians 13). Then he sums it all up in verse 13 by saying "And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the GREATEST of these is love.' No matter what you do, if it's not done in love, it's worthless. Faith works through love. Jesus said in John 14:15 'If you love me, keep my commandments.' What are His commandments? The Word. Jesus said in John 14:23-24 'If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him. He who does not love Me does not keep My words; and the word which you hear is not Mine but the Father's who sent Me.' Love is why the Father sent Jesus to die in our place. Love is why Jesus came willingly to pay the price. We must love one another. Jesus said in John 15:12 'This is My commandment, that you love one another AS I HAVE LOVED YOU.' Jesus said in John 13:35 'By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.' I'll say this; if your faith isn't working, check your love walk. Love is the key. Love opens the doors. Faith works through love.
Very True. I was suffering from chronic asthma for years. One day, I remembered how I was molested as a child. Anger rose up in me and I was thinking of getting even, but then, God told me I had to release it. The heart is deceitful. They say that time cures the wounds, but that is not true. It just covers it. The Holy Spirit will reveal what is in our hearts. Let's ask him to reveal what's in there....We might be surprised. By the way, when I forgave and released that person, I got healed. Praise God!

God is love, with him all things are possible. He left us with one important command to love each other, not criticize, not hate but Love.
